The 10,000 peso idea or dilemma

"The important thing is not being afraid to take a chance. Remember, the greatest failure is to not try. Once you find something you love to do, be the best at doing it." – Debbi Fields

For some reason, people have been searching for subjects within this site related to a "10,000 peso Business."  This may be very well attractive to people since 10,000 is more or less within ones reach.  But let me point out that the amount attached to the micro or small business is less relevant to the leadership, character and emotional intelligence of the Entrepreneur.

"Leadership is a potent combination of strategy and character. But if you must be without one, be without the strategy." – Norman Schwarzkopf.  Courtesy of this site.

In the past, I have written about start-up tips that one can learn and plan before engaging in business.  Here is the link to that article, click here. Getting as much education will help you plan your business better and help you know what to expect.

If you are indeed looking for a business or busily engaging in opportunity spotting then you might want to invest some time in networking with other business-minded individuals and joining clubs that can help you do just that.

Forget the government in helping you get into the business, it is too bureaucratic and too corrupt to even solve its own problems. The government has not realized the importance of MSME (Micr0-Small to Medium Enterprises) and it's impact on the national economy, that is probably part of the reason why Joey Concepcion went on a crusade with his Go-Negosyo

Here are few tips to go about your opportunity spotting:

1. Distribute an invention/product.
2. Solve a crisis, irritant or problem in your town.
3. Identify different ideas from other cities and bring them locally to your town.
4. Watch out for products or services that have "ready demand"
5. Learn to sift for franchises.

Thinking in new perspective: Learn to shit for Franchise. Though it is a learning path for new business and it will likely lessen our burden if we shift in anew paradigm.
