We have been receiving comments from people who have sums of monies and who would like to start a business.  This can be quite a tricky question to give light to and I am not going to make specific advice on your personal circumstances since we are all in different situations, aside from the many varied dialects that we communicate with.
A good platform to begin this thought process of having Php 10,000 capital is what kind of business would you want to indulge into.  When I speak of kind of business you would want to get into, I am referring to basic types such as:

a. RETAIL-  the process of selling by "tingi", or pa-isa-isa.  A good example of this would be the cigarette vendor at the nearest intersection.  A small carenderia is also in the retail business and even your favorite RTW store is in the retail business.

b. WHOLESALE- the process of selling by "bultuhan".  You may find such businesses in Divisoria where they would cater only to customers who are often retailers and resellers.

c. SERVICE- this is still selling either by retail or wholesale but this time the product is a service like your local beauty parlor, auto-repair shop and Spa are giving out at a price.

d. NETWORK MARKETING- a different kind of business wherein you leverage your time by getting other people to market the products with you.

All of this can be started with the Php 10,000.00 pesos that you have saved up to start this micro-business of yours.  I would greatly suggest that you find your "hilig" within the 4 basic kinds of businesses that I just spoke of since all of us are different.  Others may find retailing enjoyable while others hate it.  Others find the Network Marketing biz a cinch while others swear that it does not work.

Do you like pleasing the customer thoroughly?  then you must be cut out for a service-oriented business

Do you like waiting for customers to come by your store? then you must be born to be a retailer

Do you like approaching accounts & resellers for bulk orders? then wholesaling is for you

Do you like convincing people to join your team of active marketers? then Network marketing may be for you.

When you have defined on what kind of business you would want to indulge in then it is a great idea to follow what products/services you would want to promote.  Save your 10,000 business capital by learning the thought process that will help you in the planning stages.
