Election is just around the corner and soon, a new President will be sitting in the Palace.  Most will look to him for hope to pull the country out of the many miseries that beset it.  While politics and the government are beyond our control, it remains a duty upon us-- it's citizens to vote responsible and by using good judgment.

Personally, I believe that a leader that can help create a nation of Entrepreneurs is what this nation needs to spur the economy.  While job generation is noble, the cause to help create many Entrepreneurs and to provide worthwhile for them will be a far more greater weight of policy.  A capable leader must also have great experience and know-how.  A great leader once said "You cannot separate private victories from public victories!", that is why a family man must lead this nation since the wholistic experiences of leading a family is basic to society and the old adage that rings "It takes one to know one" becomes apparent since to understand a nation, one needs to have and understand a family.

Whatever the turn out of the elections may be, one thing is for sure-- nobody will save your from future financial woes. Learning to create a business by starting now will help each one become more financially literate by "doing".  Principles have been illustrated by those who have pursued the path and the opportunities abound if one is willing to pursue the path.

It was a pleasure to be invited to one of those GO NEGOSYO Seminars last April 19 held at the Garden Orchid Hotel in Zamboanga City.  It was one of those seminars that was jampacked by very inspiring and capable speakers.  They all gave advice not only theoretically, but based on their actual experiences.  Learning to start a business is critical so don't just take advice from your next door neighbor or from your office mate who has never been in business.  Learn from those who have trodden the path.
